Accessing Your IELTS Results Online is easier Than you think.

Your IELTS results are generally available thirteen (13) days after your've taken the IELTS exam.
How ever, if you need to need to get the results before this time, such as for a visa application you can request your result sooner by making an additional payment.

There is no pass or fail grade in the IELTS and all results are given with respect to a band score. The four modules of the IELTS are marked on a band score basis and the average of all the band scores is taken to get the overall band score. Band scores are given in the range of 1-9, with 9 being the highest band score and 1 being the lowest band score.

The IELTS results are mailed to the student 13 days after the test is taken. Several test centres also provide facilities of IELTS results through SMS alerts and online results service and check their IELTS results online. Check with your chosen test centre to confirm whether they have an online access to your results. Many agencies now offer verification and access of IELTS results online. Students can log-in with their candidate number and passport or id information along with their date of birth and selected test date, to view their results.

It is common for test results to be stored in an organization's website for about 28-30 days only. Students can have their test report form sent to five institutions that they prefer for no cost. The test report forms are valid for a period of two years.



If you need obtain a copy of your ielts results sometime after your test, e.g. in case you have lost the original, you can apply for a copy. Just contact your test centre and pay a small admin fee and they will send it to you. You can only do this for a preiod of 2 years from the date of your test.

In case you need more than one copy of your ielts result, these are generally available for free but do expect to pay for courier/ postage costs of these copies.
